We are working with a leader in the Tech space who is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer, expanding their DevOps team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and a deep understanding of cloud technologies, with expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Automation

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Terraform.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and orchestrate containerized applications for scalability and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment.

Containerization and Orchestration

  • Build and maintain Docker containers for microservices-based applications.
  • Configure and optimize Kubernetes resources such as pods, services, and deployments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot containerized environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

Cloud Infrastructure Management

  • Manage cloud infrastructure resources on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Implement best practices for cloud security, governance, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with development teams to architect scalable and resilient cloud-native applications.

Monitoring and Alerting

  • Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance, resource utilization, and application health.
  • Set up alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and address issues before they impact production

Security and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to security and data privacy.
  • Implement security controls and practices to protect infrastructure, applications, and sensitive data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
  • Years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role, with hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, Terraform infrastructure, and Docker containers.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
