Senior Mobile Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a React Native focused mobile role for a seed stage SaaS start-up local to the Denver metro area. 

This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week required on site.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our mobile app using React Native, ensuring a seamless, high-performance experience for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Spearhead the development of a secure, automated mobile development ecosystem that delivers a top-tier product to our users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features while improving our identity verification platform.
• Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code that meets performance requirements.
• Lead efforts in automated testing, creating a comprehensive suite of tests to ensure app integrity and performance across releases.
• Oversee and optimize our CI/CD pipeline to ensure smooth, reliable deployments and high-quality app releases.
• Implement secure development practices to protect user data and safeguard our platform.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and execute technical solutions that address customer needs.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with a focus on React Native.
• Strong advocate for code quality, clean architecture, and adherence to best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of automated testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for mobile development, including the automated build, test, and release processes.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork, able to clearly articulate technical concepts.
• Start-up mindset: adaptable, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in web development using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.).
• Familiarity with secure mobile development practices and knowledge of identity verification or data security standards is a bonus.
