My Philadelphia based client has a need for a Senior Market Analyst who can help a hospital system with it’s capital investments and forecasting.

The Senior Market Analyst is a key position focused on financial forecasting and strategic consulting for large-scale capital investments. This role involves supporting senior leadership in the analysis and modeling of investment opportunities, capital projects, and market expansion strategies. The consultant will use data-driven insights to inform decisions around major investments, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall market strategy and business objectives.

As part of a specialized data and analytics team, this role will be responsible for guiding financial strategy, building robust financial models, and providing actionable recommendations that optimize resources and drive long-term growth. You will play a vital role in shaping the organization’s future by translating complex data into clear, strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultation & Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing expertise in financial forecasting, capital planning, and investment analysis. Influence key decisions by offering actionable insights that support major capital projects and market growth.
  • Insight Generation: Lead the development of financial models and forecasts, identifying investment opportunities, cost structures, and potential risks. Use market data to inform business strategies and guide large-scale investments.
  • Problem Solving: Design and implement financial strategies that address complex market and operational challenges, optimizing capital allocation and improving long-term financial sustainability.
  • Results Delivery: Manage the end-to-end financial analysis process, ensuring that all projects meet deadlines, align with business objectives, and provide actionable insights for key stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Mentor junior team members, promote cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the team’s collective expertise is applied effectively to enhance financial strategies and outcomes.
  • Communication: Prepare and present clear, concise reports and presentations to senior leadership, translating complex financial data into understandable insights. Tailor messaging to various audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all financial models and analyses are accurate, comprehensive, and meet the highest standards of quality. Deliver insights that are both reliable and actionable.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek feedback, apply new methodologies, and stay current on industry trends to optimize financial processes and enhance team performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or strategic consulting, with a focus on large-scale capital planning, market analytics, or financial forecasting.
  • Proven experience leading projects that involve complex data analysis and decision-making, with minimal oversight.
