My client, a Los Angeles based Tech Start-up, has a need for a Head of Sales.
Our company is a leading platform dedicated to empowering creators by helping them monetize their passions and build meaningful relationships with their fans. With a focus on trust, safety, and brand-safe content, we are at the forefront of the creator economy, shaping its future.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the partnerships team, setting clear objectives to drive success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, brands, and strategic partners.
- Negotiate and manage minimum guarantee deals to maximize value for the company and its creators.
- Develop a sustainable partnership framework to scale business growth.
- Manage and optimize the deal pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and prioritization.
- Drive revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities aligned with the company's mission.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Creator Success) to align sales strategies with company goals.
- Work with the Data Science team to leverage insights to inform strategies and enhance decision-making.
- Develop compelling sales presentations that showcase the platform’s value proposition.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging creators, and market dynamics to position the platform as an industry leader.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales leadership, brand partnerships, or a related role, ideally in the creator economy or digital advertising.
- Deep understanding of the creator economy, influencer marketing, and agency ecosystems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Track record of managing and growing high-performing sales or partnerships teams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis for pipeline management and revenue forecasting.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and accountable for results.
