We are looking for an Account Executive, Team Leader for one of our Insurance clients in the Grand Rapids or Detroit areas of Michigan.
The role involves maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients through proactive engagement and a deep understanding of their needs.
Key responsibilities include providing strategic planning and consulting, such as preparing Requests for Proposal, coordinating vendor responses, and analyzing RFP outcomes to offer recommendations.
Regular consultations with clients are essential for reviewing investment options, vendor services, and claims experiences, especially regarding large claims and abnormal utilization.
Additionally, the position requires leadership in managing daily administrative activities for client accounts, mentoring staff, and facilitating knowledge sharing among team members.
The role also focuses on ensuring profitability for “fee-at-risk” proposals and contributing to revenue goals for both existing and new business.
It involves developing and implementing policies within the area of specialty, while fostering strong relationships with carriers and broker networks.
The individual will oversee issue resolution between clients and vendors, coordinate market selection for new and renewal business, and generate new business opportunities through cross-selling efforts. This includes negotiating program terms and costs and staying informed about industry trends and regulations. Overall, the position requires flexibility to perform various responsibilities as needed.
